The Pettet Foundation Honoured with Manningham Council Civic Award Nomination

The Pettet Foundation was recently nominated for the prestigious 2024 Manningham Council Civic Awards in the Community Organisation of the Year category.

While the Foundation did not win, the recognition we received with our nomination is a testament to the tireless efforts of our team and supporters who provide immediate support to families in crisis.

The award night was hosted by 89.9 Light Breakfast presenter, Lucy Holmes, with the Mayor of Manningham, Cr Carli Lange presenting each nominee and award winner with commemorative frames.

This night of nights was a true celebration of the incredible work being done across our community. It was an inspiring evening, filled with stories of dedication, passion, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by so many like-minded individuals and organizations who are equally driven to enhance the lives of those in Manningham.

“The Manningham Council Civic Awards are designed to celebrate community organizations that go ‘above and beyond’ in fostering diversity, acceptance, community spirit, and social connectedness. To be recognized alongside such inspiring groups is a true honour,” says Cam Sutherland, Foundation Director.

Cam adds: “This nomination is not just a reflection of our past achievements but a motivator for our future endeavours. We remain dedicated to our cause and are more committed than ever to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.”

Thank you, Manningham Council, for this incredible recognition, and congratulations to all the other nominees who are making a real difference in our community.
