How can we help?

We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children facing crisis situations.

We understand that life’s challenges can be sudden and overwhelming, and we’re here to provide immediate support.

Our Approach

Unlike many government and charitable support networks, we specialize in offering rapid assistance when it’s needed the most. Our support often takes the form of immediate financial aid, purchase vouchers, food vouchers, or similar forms of assistance. However, we are not limited to financial aid alone. We also arrange and provide counselling, budgeting guidance, and financial advice, recognizing that a holistic approach can significantly impact the lives of those in need.

Our key focus is on crisis situations, particularly those arising from family breakdowns, where a parent is suddenly left to fend for themselves and their children. In these challenging times, we collaborate with schools, local councils, social workers, psychologists, and other professional care teams to extend help. It’s essential to note that we do not provide long-term assistance, and we generally do not have direct contact with the recipients of our support.

More About Us

The Pettet Foundation is a registered charity, and all donations made to us are tax deductible. What sets us apart is that 100% of the funds we raise are used to directly support families. All our administrative costs and services are provided free of charge.

The Pettet Foundation was originally founded by friends of the Pettet family, who tragically lost their lives in an accident on Australia Day in 2001. This foundation is a testament to their legacy, and many of our supporters have strong connections to the local communities of Park Orchards and surrounding areas, where the Pettet family lived.

We are honored to continue this legacy and remain committed to providing immediate support for those in crisis. Together, we can make a positive impact and help families and children find hope during challenging times. Thank you for considering the Pettet Foundation as a partner in making a difference.
